On June 26th the Vienna Wildlife Management Association (VWMA) held its second meeting since forming this spring.  This meeting was to elect officers, and elected as follows to serve a one-year term were:

We currently have 48 active members and 16,142 acres in the VWMA.  We also have a prospective membership list of 56.  If you know of anyone interested in joining or that needs information, please have them give me a call.  Talk with your neighbors; get them interested in our co-op, and what the co-op can do for them.

Our fall meeting will be held on Saturday, September 11, 1999, at 6:00 p.m. at the Henneke Camp on CR 132.  To get to the camp, from Hallettsville take HWY 90-A east toward Houston to CR 132 (if you cross the Navidad River you’ve gone to far), turn right on CR 132, go 2 ½ miles, the camp will be on your left.
A meal will be served along with drinks.  Please bring a covered dish, a dessert, or anything to complement the meal.  This is a family affair, your spouse and children are welcome.
